Birds of a feather flock together is an English proverb. The expression “birds of a feather flock together” means that people who are alike tend to do things together and form groups. This painting was partly conceived and commissioned by Mike and Jen Trudeau. Mike was my best friend in high school and also a high school friend of my wife, Nancy. I gave him a drawing of mine that he liked over a half century ago when we met. Now we have come full circle and I am happy to share a new painting with my friend and his wife. Truly, new friends are silver but old friends are gold. This golden sunset commemorates our friendship. As Bob Hope used to sing …Thanks for the memories!
