Silver Bells
Christmas season in New York always makes me think of the song “Silver Bells”. "Silver Bells" became a huge hit when Bing Crosby recorded a duet of the song with Carol Richards. The song writers said they were inspired by the bell ringing Santas in New York City. This painting was inspired by a fabulous photographer, #Melliekr, that posted a photograph on Instagram. Several friends on FaceBook thought it was one of my paintings. When they realized that it wasn't, they encouraged me to paint the scene and so I did!
