Maker’s Mark is a fine bourbon that a gentleman from Tennessee introduced me to over 35 years ago. But as the saying goes …“There are no bad bourbons, only better bourbons”. Their trademark seals of melted red wax are hand dipped. We actually got to see the women dipping the bottles when we visited the historic distillery. It was after attending a Shropshire family reunion in Paris, Kentucky. There were three generations of Shropshires all together on an epic road trip; My son Scott, my older brother Jim, my Dad, and my sister Linda.
