Hello Tom,
Your cover page of the Milwaukee Journal on Christmas has an extra
special meaning for me and my new fiancé. On Christmas Eve, my
boyfriend of many years proposed to me on the foothills of Holy Hill.
Of course I said yes. When I awoke on Christmas morning, it was
symbolic when I saw your incredible painting on the cover page. It was
like everything was meant to be. I was wondering if there is any way I
could purchase a print of the picture. It would be an extra special
treasure to us. Please let me know.
Thank you,
Jill Pezewski
Hi Tom.
Congratulations on your front page position in the Milwaukee Journal
Sentinel!
My name is Shelley
Smith and I am a resident of Stone Bank, WI. Since I was a child, Holy
Hill has been a very special place to me. While I only live a few miles
away from it, I enjoy collecting paintings from various artists of it.
I have several in my home with a few in my office. It also is a place
that I go to when I need to find some tranquility and peace in my life.
Dear Mr. Shropshire,
My name is Fr. Elijah and I am the prior of the community of Discalced
Carmelite Friars stationed at St. Florian Parish in Milwaukee. We are
the sister monastery to Holy Hill, where I was stationed for many
years. I am writing today, motivated by the wonderful Christmas day
newspaper article, to inquire if prints of that glorious painting of
yours might be purchased and if so where. I am renovating the hundred
year old monastery here and would love to have a print for our chapter
room.
Thank you for your time and sharing your talent in rendering such
a beautiful likeness of our beloved mother house.
Fr. Elijah of the Eucharist, OCD
Prior
Tom:
Congratulations! What an honor. Sammi and I are proud to have learned
the basics from you. You are our inspiration!

My mother-in-law
just loved the painting of “Winter’s Eve at Holy Hill” which appeared in
the Milwaukee Journal. Are reproductions available for sale and, if so,
can you provide details? Thank you.
